What is it you want?.

What is it you want?

I want everything!  I want nothing less!  I want the fullness of God made manifest in and through me where nations are healed and come to the full saving knowledge of God.  I want like Peter who carried the presence of God in such a way where people were healed as he walked past them.  I want to walk like Stephen waiting tables where miracles happened as he waited tables, and then under persecution would shine like Jesus, as stoned to death.  How much do I want it?  How much I am willing to sacrifice to get it?
I have seen some of this but I want to see more.

Recently we have been coming under persecution and the Lord said to me "Sarah, what did you pray for?" and so like Smith Wigglesworth who held meetings where Pastors would walk out, who was not altogether liked for his 'style of ministry' but was known as the "Apostle of Faith", liked much better after death than life at times.  The Lord reminded me - Sarah what did you pray for?

I keep thinking lately of the scripture in Matt 11:7  "What did you go out into the desert to see?  A reed swayed by the wind?  If not, what did you go out to see?  A man dressed in fine clothes?  No, those who wear fine clothes are in kings palaces.  Then what did you go out to see?  A prophet?  Yes, I tell you and more than a prophet?"
What are we looking for?  Are we looking for signs and wonders or are we looking for Jesus made manifest, where signs and wonders followed those who believe.  It has to be Jesus!  - 1 John 1:5  God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.  If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in darkness we lie and do not live by the truth".

Kathryn Khulman a woman known as one of God's generals and  "The Woman who believed in Miracles"  would cry out "whatever you do do not hurt the The Holy Spirit".  I am coming to understand a depth of this cry that I have never had before.  When you grieve the Holy Spirit he cannot work. You don't give him permission to come and take over.  You limit all he can do and wants to do in you and through you.

Eph 4:17-31 is a wonderful passage of how we are to live as Children of the Light and in not grieving the Holy Spirit - really worth a read, it is powerful.

When we grieve the Holy Spirit we miss out on so much that the Lord wants to give us and do through us.  When we hold onto sin, whatever shape that takes, unforgiveness, judgement, offenses etc it hinders the Holy Spirit coming in fullness because actually we are walking in darkness.  We need to humble ourselves unto the Lord and unto each other and allow God's healing, forgiveness and strength to come into our lives.

Is our want of all of Jesus in our lives and those around us higher than our want for the sin in our lives that we hold onto.  Is our desire for the blessing of God to be on our lives in such a way that we have favour wherever we walk?  If so, then fantastic because God will give you the desire of your heart - but it may not look how you want it to look, but in that there is fullness of joy that surpasses understanding!
If not then that too is okay - just ask the Lord to do it in you, to make his desires your desires, his heart your heart.  You cannot make yourself passionate for God, he first has to put it in you.  You cannot do it, but you can ask the Lord to do it in you and allow him however that looks to work it in and through you.  Just in the process don't forget your prayer as I was reminded the other day - Sarah isn't this what you prayed for?  When it doesn't happen how you expect.

When you walk in the light as he is in the light, the darkness has to flee.  We have darkness in our lives but when confronted with the light we realise our sin and we can either run from it or chose to bring it into the light where there is no shame, no condemnation, just healing and forgiveness and then the fullness of life where it brings life wherever it goes.

I want to be a channel for the river of the Holy Spirit to flow through me in fullness, not half measure and in this have to come to him daily and ask him, Lord show me if there are things that are hindering the fullness of you flowing through me.  I want to have full fellowship with him and with others in openness and truth in such a way that the light shines out of me convicting others of their own sinfulness that leads to repentance without me having to say a word because the Holy Spirit is speaking through me.  I want to see Nations turn toward God and how can that happen unless I first turn to him.
Eph 5:1  "Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God"

Obedience and Commitment are big things in Gods Kingdom

Reading in Acts 7 this morning the story through Stephen of Abraham being told by God to " Leave your country and your people and go the the land I will show you"   So he left the land of the Chaldeans and settled in Haran. After the death of his father, God sent him to this land where you are now living.  He gave him no inheritance here, not even a foot of ground.  But God promised him that he and his descendants after him would possess the land, even though at that time Abraham had no child." As I reflected on this and the journey of Abraham stepping out in faith into a land that he received no inheritance in but a promise of what was to come for his descendants of which we live in the fruit of that, I thought of todays generations in which often is only doing things that we want to do or that will benefit us personally as we live for 'today' not worrying about tomorrow.  A sense of if it feels good then do it, if it doesn't then we will move on -  perhap

There is an army rising up!

Are you struggling in your family?  Are you struggling with people in the body of Christ?  Keep going in love and you will see the breakthroughs you long for. Over the past few months the Lord has been showing me some scenes where the enemy has been trying to attack and destroy families, and so I believe it is a time where we need to be alert of the devils schemes and counter attack with the truth and the love of God.   Three areas we ourselves as a ministry are currently contenting for breakthrough in are: 1.   the unity of the body of Christ,  2.  for whole families to come to Christ 3.  for mental health issues to be overcome .... and so of course the enemy wants to come and try and destroy in whatever way He can within churches, within families, in individuals and so I/we need to be alert to the schemes of the enemy.   Romans 12:21    "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." One vision I share with you I had before Christmas.  I had this vision

6 legged sheep???

In the weekend I saw a vision of a sheep that had six legs. And what I believe the Lord is saying, there are many sheep, (followers of Christ), but they are trusting in their own strength and not in mine.  When we trust in our own strength and abilities we forfeit the grace that can be ours, the enabling that comes from stepping out in faith in the impossible, the testimonies that give God the glory rather than the expectation of what should be because we have put our hand to  something.  God is the God of the impossible and in order for the miracles, the testimonies, we need to be a people that step out in what we can't do and allow God to come in and do the impossible.   That may simply be asking the Lord to help you to forgive someone that has hurt you so much, to getting on a plane with no finances because the Lord has asked you to, to continue to stay in a job/church/marriage/relationship you don't want to because that is where God has placed you, to praying for a

Bus crash in Botswana - Rejoice in the Lord always.

Well we had an interesting introduction to Botswana - yes a bus crash.  It was amazing and most probably the worst accident I have been in to this day (but not bad I am sure to some of you out there) but thankfully the Lord looked after us and protected us. The front tyre of the bus blew out travelling about 120ks per hour and the bus tipped from side to side as it careered off the road into the bus.  How it never hit cars and no one was killed we will never know apart from the protection of the Lord.  We were flown all over the place but thankfully only came out with a few cuts and bruises.  It was literally a miracle that we didn't roll.  One girl was thrown out of the bus in a serious condition, others hurt in various ways but it could have been a whole lot worse.  The Lord gave us peace and we went about praying for people and was blessed especially by one lady who felt the fire of God healing her so much so that she was laughing and crying all at the same time.  Two days ear

Meerkats may be cute, but they can be dangerous.

This morning I saw in a dream I was in a car with some people travelling along and they saw a bunch of meerkats that they thought were cute and they invited them into the car.  I was trying to tell them not to let them in, but they continued to let them in.  And then shortly after that I saw another very cute animal that people wanted to pick up and cuddle, but it too was a very dangerous animal that would cause harm. As I was asking the Lord about it and I got the scripture; "There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death" Prov 14:12 For myself personally I am looking at next year and praying and asking the Lord for the plans for next year as many of you leaders may be doing the same.  We can continue with what seems right and good, and has gone well in the past, but I believe the Lord is saying, be careful as what you think may seem right and good, actually may cause harm. I encourage you, especially Pastors and Leaders, don't necessar

"A man's enemies will be the members of his own household" Matt 10:36

Recently we have been pondering how to deal with situations in our family that don't line up with the word. What action do we need to take?  Are we being too harsh?  Do we accept the behaviour or be considered by those around us as "too radical" or "too black and white"?  "Where is grace in all of this? How do we love the sinner but hate the sin?  What about forgiveness?  What is the role of discipline?   What makes that sin any worse than lying?  What is true love?  And there are a lot more questions going through the mind in how to work through this and know God's will and desire for the situation and the person. And firstly to say we have not come to any conclusions and are growing and learning day by day in this but I want to throw it out there. In Matt 10:34-39 says "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth.  I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.  For I have come to turn "a man against his father, a daughter
